Having just returned from a whole week in Kansas City, Missouri at the International House of Prayer (IHOP) for the Joseph Company Conference I'm full of new inspiration! Bob Hartley teaches a prayer model of The ABC's of Adoration where you think about the names of God that begin with each letter & go through the whole alphabet just adoring God. When you just adore the Lord this way you can pray for a very long time and it will seem like a moment! After the teaching I went into the prayer room and the Lord downloaded inspiration for artwork for each letter to me. I drew in the prayer room for hours and it was incredibly fun! These drawings will be made into a framable piece of artwork containing all of the letters with the names of God. It will be perfect for a prayer room, home, church or office. Each letter will also be made as a sepearate page for a book with the references on the opposite page. I'm hoping to have a full sized, color book and a pocket edition. Projected time to go to the publisher is by December 2007.

The love of the ABC's began when I began doing calligraphy many years ago but there's also a history of literal ABC's artwork. In 1992 I did a piece that had the ABC's for a preschool teacher in which each letter had several things that represented her particular class. During the next several years I made "Namesigns" which were avaliable in a national catalog, Harris Communications. "Namesigns" were each hand drawn original 8x10 artworks which had the letters of a person's name in italic capital letters, each letter had the American Sign Language handshape drawn within it. They were drawn with Prismacolor designer pens & were available in jewel tones, floral design or primary colors.
