What is a Giclee' ?

A Giclee' ( gee-clay) is a state of the art process of reproducing art archivally with incredible accuracy. It's amazingly true to the original painting in color and detail. Your giclee' will truly be a legacy for generations under normal conditions and will resist fading for at least a century.

What is a limited edition?

A limited edition is a release of an art piece which is limited to a certain number. Once the edition is sold out there aren't any more, therefore your Giclee' can become even more valuable as time goes by.

How can I preserve my Giclee'?

Framing is available from artcmom.com for very reasonable prices.
If you choose to have the framing done yourself be sure to:

  • Use acid-free mat board around the front as well as behind the piece. This will ensure your piece will be properly preserved from natural acids in papers.
  • Use u.v. glass or u.v. plexiglass to keep harmful u.v. rays from breaking down your inks over many, many years
